Experiencial Learning

BaddiI International School is a CBSE affiliated school in Baddi, where we give focus on holistic development of a child, NEP-2020 is instructed to CBSE schools that we have to give joyful learning, learning by doing, experiential learning to our students, we have to develop kitchen garden in school. We have to give culinary arts to students. In BIS, we have already implemented NEP-2020 and doing work accordingly.

Bistians cultivated kitchen garden in school campus. They cultivated Banana tree and got experience how to cultivate. After getting fruit, they experienced learnt that how each part of banana tree is important. BIS teachers showed to Bistians each part of Banana, how leaf, stem, flower and fruit, every part is useful. Teachers inculcate the seed of culinary arts in Bistians. They made one salad with the use of stem, one curry was prepared with the use of flower. These things served on Banana leaf. It was a great learning for Bistians.
